Chapter 2116
Ethan stood in front of the Senior Elder and everyone else behind him.
It was as if he was a large mountain that was protecting all of Clearheart Sect.
He seemed to be able to take on a thousand men by himself.
Leroy’s hand was still shaking and his broken bone was sticking out.
That punch from Ethan was simply too terrifying and they could see what Ethan was capable of. And they knew that this might not even be Ethan’s most powerful punch either.
There was some change on the faces of the elders.
They didn’t know Ethan and had never met him before, but from Leroy’s expression, they could guess that this young man was the aggressive man who killed Jorge!
This man was so young but actually dared to do such a thing. Wasn’t he afraid of incurring Titan Sect’s wrath at all?
“Young man, who are you to Clearheart Sect?” The elder from Sea Gale Sect scoffed. “Don’t put yourself in harm’s way for nothing.”
“And who are you?” Ethan glanced at him.
“Barnim from Sea Gale Sect!”
“Sea Gale Sect?” Ethan nodded thoughtfully. “I think the one I killed earlier was an elder of Sea Gale Sect.”
Barnim Swain’s expression immediately darkened.
“What did you say?”
“Stede, was it?” Ethan shook his head. “I can’t really remember. I don’t bother remembering the names of dead people.”
He looked at Barnim Swain and took a step forward with a relaxed expression on his face. It was as if he wasn’t nervous or worried even when faced with all these highly skilled elders.
“You killed Stede?” Barnim Swain’s voice became higher in pitch.
“Not only him,” said Ethan. “You’ve also placed at least another ten odd key disciples at the northern side too, right?”
“Tsk, you should have sent more men over. Then I could finish off more of them.”
The air suddenly stood still.
Barnim’s expression darkened as he clenched his fists tightly.
He suddenly roared, “You’re asking to get killed!”
He didn’t care if Ethan was telling the truth or not. These words alone were a crime in themselves!
He would not allow Ethan to blaspheme the elders of Sea Gale Sect!
Barnim gave a low shout and charged at Ethan. The other elders didn’t bother moving.
If they had to join hands to fight the Senior Elder, it made sense. But they weren’t going to join hands to fight Ethan. Ethan was not fit for them to do such a thing.
They didn’t want to embarrass themselves either.
Leroy started getting anxious when he saw that the other elders weren’t budging.
“Don’t underestimate him!” he yelled. “He’s no weaker than the Senior Elder!
That punch had left his entire arm numb until now, and he still couldn’t even clench his fists tightly.
“You want us to join hands and attack him?” The elder from Achilles Sect shook his head. “He’s not worthy.”
They were all men of high standing and they didn’t want to embarrass themselves like this.
Barnim Swain suddenly screeched and came flying over to land exactly at the feet of the elder from Achilles Sect. he opened his mouth and vomited a mouthful of blood.
The elder from Achilles Sect was stunned for a moment and the other elders were equally shocked.
They just said that Ethan was not worth the effort to be attacked by all of them at one shot. But now they felt like they had just received a slap in their face.
This Ethan was the young man that they had just despised moments ago.
They had felt that there was no need to surround and kill this youngster together.
They were concerned about their reputation and standing. But now, Ethan had slapped them in their faces.
“AHH!” Barnim yelped in pain as his chest caved in. It was a terrifying sight to behold.
That was one scary punch.
“Kill him!” shouted Leroy loudly as he felt his heart tremble.
He was even more fearful of Ethan now.
He suddenly remembered how Ethan had calmly ordered the beheading of Jorge that day. No ordinary man would have dared to do such a thing.
